SYDNEY BIENNALE 2012

The 2012 Sydney Biennale completely exceeded expectations this year. You can look forward  to seeing outstanding works, intricate detailing and original ideas by many talented artists while remaining beautiful and accessible to all ages. My absolute favourite is an installation , Philip Beesley‘s Hylozoic Series: Sybil (above and below ) , a mind bendingly gorgeous hybrid of sculpture, engineering, experimental chemistry and architecture that has got to be seen to be believed.
The ferry journey to Cockatoo Island and the industrial backdrop add a unique bend to this art experience. With boats leaving every 15 minutes and the exhibition being completely free of charge , there are no excuses to miss it…
