GO GREEN: HOW TO ADD THE COMEBACK COLOUR TO YOUR WARDROBE THIS SEASON

Green is one of those colours that has a pretty bad reputation as being an unflattering colour, but is it true? The autumn/winter '14/'15 runways from Gucci, Balmain and Isabel Marant were awash with green in multiple shades and the colour worked. Whether khaki or jewel-toned green, the palette looked beautiful paired with burgundy, brown, cranberry and dark yellow. I especially loved the way it brought back a modern '70s flavour into little A-line skirts and coats or the military cool it evokes with black. It inspired me to have a little play with pieces available now to get a head start on the trend.

Culottes + green = two awesome new trends put together! I love the shape and elegance of culottes. Here, the burgundy  perfectly offsets the green while the tan pops the tones further.

70s redux that feels cosy but looks ladylike.

As confounding as 2016 has been, there were moments within it that were absolutely amazing. Sure there were deaths and natural disasters yet moments of magic cropped up unexpectedly too, leading to larger picture realisations and sudden insights into the foggy crossing roads ahead. For me personally, no other year has sucked so much whilst […]

Layers may not be the sexiest clothing option in the world, yet winter is the most imaginative time in the style stakes because we finally get to play with investment coats, beautiful boots and cosy knits. Each year I invest in a few pieces that will take me through the coldest months, yet I want […]
