ENDLESS SEA

There is a moment after sunset, before the sky has decided what to be when the sea and the air agree to share a single colour. Pink at the top of the frame, peach where the cloud once was, lavender where the sky and the sea forget which is which, and finally a band of cool steel where the water meets itself.

A study in the way a horizon can sit in the chest. Photographed in Croatia at the end of a long day – a colour field rather than a picture of a place, made in the last few minutes of light.

Produced as a signed, numbered limited edition giclée print, hand-pulled on Canson Rag Photographique 310gsm 100% cotton archival paper. Each impression bears a fine border, the artist’s hand-signature and unique number. The edition is strictly limited to fifty across three formats — A2, A1, A0 — plus two artist’s proofs issued at the artist’s discretion. Once the run is complete, no further prints will be made.
